Merry Christmas!!

We celebrated Christmas (and Christmas Eve) by having our families over, to enjoy each others company, give gifts, and eat till we were stuffed silly.  Sheri worked hard the last 48 hours cooking, baking, cleaning, and just generally being a gracious host.  As always, the food spread was amazing: Turkey (one baked in the oven, the other on the BBQ grill), Mom’s stuffing, mashed potatoes, peas, rolls, rutabaga (yellow turnip), watergate salad, various snacks and apetizers, meatballs, deserts like cheesecake and jello cake (made entirely by Lauren), various types of cookies, etc, etc…  So in other words, a ton of food, where even the pickiest eater would find many agreeable choices.

Lauren and Becca had a great Christmas, as always.  In addition to various games and toys, both girls received point & shoot cameras for Christmas,  resulting in the addition of two new members to our group of camera-toting maniacs!  :)

Here are a few photos from our family Christmas:

Excellent photos. Poor Jack. His tongue seems to show up in a lot of photos. And it is sooo long. :-)
